You may shorten or omit the case name

  - Citation one: Blue v. Gold, 233 A.2d 562, 564 (Pa. 1997)
    Citation two: Id.

    This shows that the second citation is to material on the same page as the preceding cite.
    Citation three: Id. at 566
    This shows that the second citation is to material on page 566.
  - Citation one: Blue v. Gold, 426 Pa. 464, 233 A.2d 562 (1967).
    Citation two: Id. at 473, 233 A.2d at 581.
    When parallel citation is required.
2. Supra: R4.2
  - Cardozo, supra, at 10.
    This refers to material on page 10 of Cardozo's previously cited book.
3. Short Form for Cases Where Id. is not Appropriate: B4.2
    The following forms are acceptable.
  - Green v. Gold, 270 N.W.2d at 390.
  - Green, 270 N.W.2d at 390.
  - 270 N.W.2d at 390.
