II. Constitutional and Statutory Citations
A. Constitutions: R11ex) U.S. Const. art. III, § 1, cl. 2.U.S. Const. amend. IV.N.M. Const. art. IV, § 7.
- When possible, cite to the official code
- Cite the official name of the act; the published source; the date of code edition cited
- Citation to the unofficial code must include the publisher.
- Do not underline citations to statutes.
- citing to an amended statute where the original version appears in the code and the amendment is in the supplement.
